1. What are the benefits of Goat Milk?
Goat’s milk has higher nutrients (less sugar (lactose), 13% more calcium, 25% more vitamin B6, 47% more vitamin A, and 134% more potassium) and smaller molecules than regular cow's milk, it is more easily absorbed by the skin. Modern dairy cows are bred specifically to produce large quantities of milk due to the massive market demands, which resulted in higher level of unhealthy additives, such as antibiotics and hormones in regular cow’s milk.
Goat's milk soap has the most health benefits among handmade soaps and it is wonderful for people with dry or sensitive skin, or conditions such as eczema and psoriasis.
2. What are the benefits of handmade soaps?
Natural handmade soap is made with rich, natural oils, fats and butters that are nourishing and moisturising to your skin. High quality ingredients such as organic oils will produce high quality soap.
Soaps produced via the cold process method are opaque and usually have a creamy feel to the bar. Without any additives that change the color, the soap ranges from white-white to creamy-tan, depending on the oils used in making the soap.
3. What are the differences between commercial mass production and real handmade soaps?
High quality handmade soap is simply better for your skin. It contains natural ingredients such as plant-derived base oils, glycerin, and essential oils. By contrast, synthetic, mass-market soap is made of petroleum-based lathering agents, synthetic fragrances, harsh dyes, and dangerous preservatives. 5. Can soap kill germs?
Like all plain soaps, homemade soap allows germs to be washed away but does not kill them. Soap is a natural surfactant that releases dirt and germs from your skin. It also forms micelles that bind with and trap oils allowing them to be rinsed away from skin.
6. Why use solid shampoo and conditioner bars?
With the solid form the shampoo and conditioner bars require much less preservatives in terms of resisting bacteria. Also the effective ingredients are more concentrated so with each application the product is only used at the necessary amount, therefore led to a longer usage time. 7. How to use solid skin and hair products from our shop?
It needs to be more gentle with your hair and skin while using the products as all our products does not contain silicone of sulfate which in most of the products is added to make the hair and skin feel artificially "smooth". However there temporally effects from such harmful ingredients are only trading off the long-term health of your body. 8. How to store solid skin and hair products between uses?
Having an appropriate soap dish or a soap saver goes a long way in prolonging the life of your beloved handmade products at our shop. This will help your soap to dry quicker and hence you prolong your soap because it does not sit and stew in its own heat and wetness that makes it melt. 10. What if I have sensitive skin?
